When I lived in the Saudi Arabia we travelled many times for family vacations to Dubai. It was a short plane ride and a great weekend get away. A visit to the Souk was high on my list of things to do. “Souk” or “Souq” is the Arabic word for market where any kind of goods are bought or exchanged. The spice Souk is one of the most popular souk’s in Dubai. It’s narrow passages are lined with small stores selling every herb and spice under the sun.
