Irish Meadow
I had the privilege of being able to visit my father’s childhood home, Craddockstown Lodge and stud farm, in Naas Co Kildare Ireland for many years before it was sold and then later converted into a golf club. The land during the summer was filled with a mixed assortment of wildflowers and long grasses. I have great memories of running wild through the grasses, Inhaling the beautiful floral smells and aroma of fresh cut grass. This fragrance is mild and mellow, not overpowering. When I lived in the Saudi Arabia we travelled many times for family vacations to Dubai. It was a short plane ride and a great weekend get away. A visit to the Souk was high on my list of things to do. “Souk” or “Souq” is the Arabic word for market where any kind of goods are bought or exchanged.
